Violin Scales

One, Two, and Three octave Violin Scales and Arpeggios. All Major and Minor Keys included with Suggested Finger Patterns when needed. This is a great starting place for new violinist. Learning scales and arpeggios in different keys will help develop finger strength agility and dexterity along with coordination. Over time you will develop better intonation(playing in tune). For my non-traditional students I have also added the Major and Minor Pentatonic Scales for review. 
Below are one octave Major and Minor Scales. Click the link to download a free PDF of the scale. You can further your skills by practicing scales regularly. This helps you become more familiar and comfortable with your instrument. 

Play along videos are also listed below. These Play along exercises review all the notes of the Scale along with a review of Chord Tones, Arpeggios, Pentatonic scales to give you a good overview of each key.
